First time using this soap. Wow it sure was different. The reviews I read said it smelled like dirt so not sure why I was surprised when it smelled like - dirt. Wet dirt. With pungent moss notes that are a bit on the chemical smelling side. Yes weird. I didn't pick up the tobacco scent but there was some pepper notes in there like the description said.
It was actually an oddly satisfying scent. I was drawn to the funkiness. When it arrived last night I kept opening it to check to see if I liked it. Bottom line is yes I do like it - Sam I am. I do like green eggs and ham. As I was shaving I thought I should take a stroll through the damp, green English country side in a tweed jacket and end up at a stone cottage with a fire going and a freshly roasted leg of lamb waiting for me on the table
The performance was super regardless of the scent. Very creamy and slick. I think I'll shave with this one for the next couple of days and see if i still like it.
