Ralf Aust 5/8.

Still learning the ropes. Made two passes on my cheeks - ear to corner of mouth - along the jawlines and left side of my neck. My right neck has too much scarring from cancer surgery (neck dissection) for the SR. The shaves with the SR are getting better, but I still need to follow up with the DE.
Sounds like great progress. Enjoy and have fun, it only gets better.

Suzuki 66 again tonight. I wasn’t happy with yesterday’s shave, the edge just didn’t have the juice. I had previously finished it on my Jnat but made my slurry too thick, rookie mistake, and it set the edge back and never recovered. A quick 3k 8k 12k session and it’s back to its former glory.

Shave smooth and comfortable today.
Crown GR PATENT-TF? RAZOR 6/8"
Royal Warrant Mark,
Crown GR= George IV 1820~1830,
Around 1820, a "patent" might have been a brand name.
Wedge,Spanish Point,Stub tail.
This time honing uses Taiwan Stone+Mejiro Nagura.
Seeing the crown GR stamp can tell you that the razor was made around 1820~1830. The WOOTZ pattern appeared in the crucible steel production process of CAST STEEL.
Although there are rust pits on the surface of the knife, the WOOTZ pattern can still be seen.
