I finally took the time to pull this TI out to see if I could make it work. After using a sharpie on the bevel to see if it had been set previously (was under the assumption that it had), I learned very quickly that it had not been set. So back into the cabinet it went until I have a few extra minutes...

Second rodeo for the Geneva Cutlery Pyramid 7. It got bucked off right out of the chutes last time around.
Having finally escaped from isolation, I was in a perfect mood to sit and hone. While I was at it, I took the whole stone troupe to the Atoma for a flat attack. I gave the razor the full treatment, from 600 chosera thru 1/3/5/8/12k super stones. And then, no balsa/diamond, just linen and leather and lather.
This times, it shaves. I didn't get the closeness I crave. Next comes the balsa sequence, to see if that delivers. I suspect that at least 5/8/12 will be needed again before this Pyramid joins the rotation for keeps.
