So I have a merkur hd and a tweezerman brush, should I get a new razor or invest in a brush. The brush seems to be more expensive but worth the investment. On the other hand I could almost get to razors for the price of a good brush. Any suggestions? Besides an ej89l
I was thinking a Gillette Adjustable too. A brush wont change your actual shave much, but a razor will, and an adjustable is like buying a bunch of razors at once.
I acquired many razors before owning a decent brush. During my RAD phase, I was using a cheap Burmashave brush. I also wasn't too thrilled about spending a ton of money on a brush. I did a lot of reading in the forums and I came to the conclusion that an Edwin Jagger Best Badger brush would fit my needs the best.....I use pucks and like to face lather. And the best part about it is that it only set me back about $45, before shipping.
Although an entry level brush, the new brush has made all the difference in the world. I use less product when loading the brush plus I get a richer lather with half the work.
Get a brush and then an adjustable razor (as already sugested). Like many others have said, either a Fatboy or a Slim.
