Just love it. I wish that every sports commentator just kept to the subject of shaving - instead of sports. Me myself would listen most carefully to the interview.

Your post got me interested so I checked out what $1 in 1953 would be today(2010 actually) based off the change in CPI.

It would be $8.62.

Any of the animated commercials with the parrot and the "Look Sharp, Feel Sharp, Be Sharp" song. Most of these I associate with the Friday Night Fights on NBC.
