About a half inch right of the center of my right palm.
I've never had a tattoo, so no idea if it would hurt a lot, but I have never seen anyone put a tattoo there? Would that not be the coolest thing ever? Like a note for people that find me to bring me home!
That would save a lot of time! I guess if you relocated to another location you could have it X-ed out, or have a map tattooed to your new location.
My wife and I lived about 10 years in the Chicago area and met a lot of people from Michigan. That’s when we began to notice the hand thing. Now whenever we meet someone from there our first question is “where do (/did) you live?” We haven’t had a single person NOT do the hand thing.
Us trolls got it easy. Those folks from the U.P. try to use their left hand and look like idiots.

No my friend, my pomposity and narcissism reared both it's heads in a moment of weakness.
