Pressed for time this morning so I grabbed the Nivea cream in a can and the Gamechanger 84 with an Astra SP blade for a 1 pass and touch up for a comfortable SAS.

Some old Gillette tech (pre-date code parts, triangular slots in plate/comb), and a Derby Extra (3).

the derby doesn’t tug as much as the Parker blades (which I think are made in the same place, same packaging and coating description).

Just one pass as a daily - not super close, but consistent, zero irritation or sting with the alum block.

If I wanted closer, the Tatara would do it with the same method and prep. But the tatara wasn’t $12. Although it’s a lot nicer looking.

Today the first shave with this old unbranded, probably German, 4-piece travel razor and King C Gillette blade. Not a very pleasant one, to much blade feel. This one will be reduced to 'for display only'.
