I found this ‘48 - ‘50 Superspeed at an antique store around a half dozen years ago. There was some plating loss, but no significant pitting. The case cleaned up well, too. After a month or so of shaves I decided to have the razor replated with nickel. It remains one of my favorite razors.
I’m late to the game with the Silver Blues. Just got them last week. They’ve taken over the number 1 spot for me: quite sharp, quite smooth, and they remain sharp and smooth for at least four shaves (I typically throw a blade away after the fourth shave).

5/6: 1966 Schick Krona, Lord Plat, Irish Spring, AOS badger, Brut. Two passes and a little buffing produced a beautiful BBS. Next shave: Schick L

Interesting razor....shaves A LOT like my Blackbird with the Chrome Platinum installed; less than comfortable shave but provides an efficient and surprisingly enough weeper free shave. Probably going to keep shaving with it using different blades, or at least until my Homelike finally comes in which should be fairly soon
