I hadn’t used this razor in years. By the second pass I remembered why: it’s not a comfortable shave for me. I can’t see anything at issue - blade exposure appears even, as does gap. I guess it just isn’t the best razor for me. If I remember correctly, it wasn’t any better with the stock handle.

first use of my new aluminum R1 plate on my ATT Atlas Classic, quite a lot milder fellow compared to my usual SS H1 plate, but still lovely blade feel, just less chances of bodily harm!
