My first vintage, the '62 Slim, stopped down to 6-5-4 for my 3 passes. Loaded with a Personna Lab blue blade (2). I can't imagine why it was that I was disenchanted for a time with this razor . . . unless it was that I wasn't clicking it high enough to plane off my face properly.

I have a Gillette Contract head on an MR1 handle. Original handle was broken and the metal rod inside was exposed and rusted so I threw it away and put the head on that maggard MR1. The head shows its age but is in great shape. I have it loaded with an Israeli Personna and will be getting to within a week. Maybe tomorrow. Not sure exactly what day yet.

Baili BD179 + 1st use Dorco ST300 for a 3 pass, BBS shave. Blade was a bit too sharp for me, but it performed so well.
