In the realm of the perfect blade sharpness/razor combo. Swapped over to the 1912 and with a 4 or 5 shave old blade it gives an almost perfect shave. I also always get an above Average shave from this scent soap.

I couldn't be happier 6 hours later. Still smooth.

8.9/10

Fatip Piccolo Mk1
Personna Med Prep (3)
Zenith B03-A26 aluminum pro boar brush
Cella red tub
Dickinson witch hazel toner
LEA Balsam with alcohol & menthol

Close shave; CCS+ with a few weepers; nothing the aftershave couldn't take care of...

Notes:
  • Tried using the Fatip Piccolo Mk1 after a month of using only the Piccolo Mk2 to see the contrast.
  • Comparing the Fatip Piccolo Mk1 with the Mk2, I found I couldn't be on autopilot like with the Mk2, at least not yet. With the extra blade exposure I had to be a little more careful going around sharp corners. I got a few weepers where I went too close. I found steep angle shaving to be the easiest. Going against the grain, the blade did not feel as well controlled as with the Mk2.
  • Cella is a great match with the Mk1.
  • LEA Balsam is quite good with the unusual combo of alcohol and menthol in a balm. Not at all greasy.

How about that CRS Wild Rose? Is that a strong scent? What about the shave qualities?

Day 6 or 7 on blade. Nearing the end there but again. It's almost Friday. Used some WH before the splash. Honestly the WH kinda burned.

Also grabbed the boar brush today, something to mix up the work from home dulldrums.

It was a good shave, nothing special but they can't all be bangers.

8.3/10
