That a Shavemac D01 2 Band needs some test lathers to open up, but when it does start to open up it's a wonderful scrubby brush.

that merkur super blades aren't for me
I did not meet anybody likes merkur blades
My normal lathering technique (Marco method) doesn't work for LPL. Lather was not very stable. Good shave but I have to reapply the lather several times.

Today I had all my time to shave, abundant lather (TOBS Jermyn Street).
I've got a nice BBS that could pass the cotton ball test on all my face... But at the cost of irritation. Lots of it. It's been 9 hrs and my face is now better.
Tomorrow will be WTG only...

That a Feather blade in a 68 Slim Adjustable set at 6 just may be best shave I've had during my short DE shaving journey.
For me it's a persona blue lab set at 7 in my 61 slim.
That after several months of shaving with a Tech, my technique has improved enough that I can now shave with my New LC without drawing blood, and one pass with the New is pretty damn good.
Life is good.
I am on shave #124 with my Wilkinson Sword-Edge NOS blade and just discovered that I can use Mystic Water soaps in my re usable shave stick container.

Short, quick, overlapping strokes. Don't overthink it, just shave.
Wow. Astra SPs did great in my Super Adjustable.
I learned that Astra SP's and my Super Adjustable don't get along very well
Today was 2 passes WTG and alum block gave me no sting at all. I will keep in mind to not apply pressure...LOL.I've done that. Live and learn. I've learned restraint some days.
Face lathered for the first time tonight. I liked it!!
I can not lather when using sticks as good as refills.
