Greetings! Welcome to Stone Cottage Soapworks Inc.! We are a growing company going through a period of transition and expansion! Stone Cottage Soapworks came into existence in 2003 and we opened our first retail store in 2006 soon followed by our Internet business in 2007. We spent 6 ½ years in our little shop but toward the end we realized that we needed a larger and more prominent space and we began looking. In the summer of 2011 we saw a building for sale and were finally able to purchase it in April of 2012. It is a stand-alone retail building on a busy neighborhood road in a lovely area called Warren Glen. We began the renovations hoping to be finished in a few short months and closed the retail store in the meantime. Sometimes things take longer in the construction process than you would hope for but we dont mind as we want everything to be perfect! We are in the final stages of renovations in both the retail area of the building as well as the production area. There is much involved in setting up a new workroom capable of doing large production as well as a well-designed and decorated retail space! We are planning to be completed and ready to open in early 2014! We ask your patience and hope that you will find the next few months worth the wait! We are streamlining our line of handcrafted soaps and our next big project will be to introduce our shaving cream! Liquid soap will go back into production as will lip balms and bath salts and we have plans for additional products including, shampoo and conditioner bars, shaving soap, body wash and bubble bath and eventually liquid shampoo and conditioner! Our current website is being replaced by a newly redesigned website which should be up and running within the next month! We are excited about this and the initial reactions from those who have seen it are very positive! We have a wonderful web company and web designer working for us who are so extremely professional and a graphic artist who is working on some special elements for the site! I will be posting updates to fill you in on the progress here and you can find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/StoneCottageSoapworksInc and you can see the building in all the stages of renovation and learn more about The Artisan Emporium which will house Stone Cottage Soapworks Inc. as well as Stone Cottage Yarnworks (hand dyed yarn and knitting instruction) Bruce James - a line of Men's Boxers and bowties and other new projects we are planning! Kind Regards, David B. Powers, Pres. Stone Cottage Soapworks Inc. Stone Cottage Yarnworks Bruce James L.L.C.
