'Watched Video and Nothing'

alright, I have an old Valet SE razor that takes its own type of blade, so I went to YOUTUBE and watch how-to video(s) . . . I'm convinced that the guy is using some David Copperfield slide of hand tricks.

- I took the spine off
- I snipped both ends

it still will not load properly

Maybe you have the type of Valet that has the lugs which engage the "VALET" cutout in the Valet blade. In that case, a regular SE blade cannot be made to work. You can bend or break the lugs off, but then the blade is not very secure. You can also buy the Feather SE blade which will usually work. I think www.razorbladesandmore.com sells them.
