"Just a Seiko," hahahaha.
For those who don't know watches...First, there is no such thing as "Just a Seiko" as they make some of the best watches in their price range (like their corporate cousin, Orient, they hit well above their weight ). Second, the Grand Seiko SBX117 was expensive before Seiko discontinued it ($3700 MSRP), and now, the cheapest (both used and NOS) I can find online is about $4500. Maybe not in the Rolex price range, but definitely in the Rolex quality range. Yeah, nice for "just a Seiko."

Sized the bracelet at the AD then they brought out the blue rubber strap. Game over.

Went shopping to rebuy an Orient Mako and prices have really gone up! Can't seem to find a nice blue dive style watch and can't find the Mako for under $130.
Anyway, needed a beater for work, so treated myself to a G Shock GA700 today in coyote tan. Loving it so far, though the lume could be better.
