Here's my latest straight kit for short weekend hops - designed for comfort, not speed. I have a smaller Dopp kit for when I want to travel light.
This - is just so I can indulge myself a little bit. I hate going places and not having 'my regular stuff'... you know?
So - here's my attempt to take a bit of Brooklyn with me.
Vintage Samsonite Train Case - 60/70s I guess. Yeah - it was originally designed as a make-up case for women.
Whatever - it fits my stuff and it's nearly bullet proof.
Inside. the round containers from Lush fit Vintage Williams and Colgate pucks perfectly.
The Fromm is just there for fun. Joey Strop on the right with some stuff for hanging it on kobs/handles, a cheapo loupe, some AS, a 24mm Black Badger brush, and a shave stick.
With the tray out - you can see the Rubbermaid container for the HH/Linen strop, the Dovo 2-razor case/pouch, and a hand-towel on the right.
Here's the side view of the rubbermaid - I swapped out the D-rings on the strop for plastic ones, you can see the loom strop toward the rear.
You can see the loom strop better here - the black box holds a Jnat with a rubber honing block, the smaller box holds the Nagura.
Just in case you were wondering about the Jnat stuff in the boxes....
