Torrey 6/8 good buy?

I will be interested in what others that know much better say, but it looks like a good deal to me, even if the seller is not expert at honing. I have no reason to believe one way of the other about the seller--I do not recognize the name--it is just that the price leaves enough "slack" to pay for an expert job, if one has not been done already. If you have any doubts about the quality of the edge once you get it, send it off to someone on B&B that seems well-trusted. That way you will not have to be be concerned about whether or no it is in good shape, and can concentrate on learning to use it. Photos are not the very best--hard to tell from photos anyway--but it looks to be in good shape all around.

Have fun!

Lol refurbished. Just send it to a honemeister to make sure its sharp. You can send it to me I'm offering free honing right now. Unless you wanted to save it for something nicer.

Either case, price is about right for something shiny and in need of a hone.

Leighton, I will keep that in mind.

I will post better pictures once I get it.

I would stay away from EGay . Too many scams and unknowns over at that site . You want something from a trusted source . Not some hack with a belt sander and some hones . I see those "experts" all over the place . Good luck with it .
