The glue they send with those is almost always trash unfortunately. I recommend plain old Elmer's white glue believe it or not.Yup . . . the cork in the ashtray needs a reset, but that's no biggie.
Oh man! You’re cleaning up on my favorite brand dude. I am seriously jealous. I believe I have the 9656 in a Prehistoric. I’ll check the model # tomorrow. GBD was originally a French brand. Production started moving to England after WWI because there weren’t enough workers left in France. Pipepedia has a good history on the evolution of the company. I didn't mention how much I paid for the lot. $45 for the rack and 7 pipes. All but one of the pipes was salvageable. I'm very pleased with my haul!
