Happy berfday and enjoy! Looks like a fine setup you have there.
Yup . . . the cork in the ashtray needs a reset, but that's no biggie.
The glue they send with those is almost always trash unfortunately. I recommend plain old Elmer's white glue believe it or not.

Oh man! You’re cleaning up on my favorite brand dude. I am seriously jealous. I believe I have the 9656 in a Prehistoric. I’ll check the model # tomorrow. GBD was originally a French brand. Production started moving to England after WWI because there weren’t enough workers left in France. Pipepedia has a good history on the evolution of the company. Cleaning update. So these could go for a deeper restore by sanding tooth marked bits and whatnot, but they have been reamed, alcohol salt bathed and stems deep cleaned with Oxi Clean and alcohol. The bowls have been scrubbed clean and waxed. Ultimately they are all in good smoking shape once dry.
The Prehistoric. I spent A LOT of time on this stem. There was some serious tar build up. I had to be satisfied with a light tinge. Still happy with the result.
The Kingsize turned out great. The stem could use a little more TLC but not necessary to get a good smoke. I really like this one.
The stem on this one cleaned up really nicely my only complaint is some pretty severe rim darkening. I'll work on it later on.

Got the most recent kiko in the mail today. Pretty nice shape. A bit of cleaning and tweaking needed but should make a great smoker.

Damn, that Prehistoric is awesome! Great job, they almost look unsmoked
Thank you. A bit of elbow grease and you can resurrect some pretty nasty pipes. I'm very excited to smoke it tomorrow.
I didn't mention how much I paid for the lot. $45 for the rack and 7 pipes. All but one of the pipes was salvageable. I'm very pleased with my haul!
