Thinking of adding another open comb to my collection

I thought I'd post this to see what people think - I'm thinking of adding another open comb to my collection. I have a Merkur 1904 open comb and am to receive this week a Muhle R41, 2013 model. I am thinking of ordering a Cadet/Matador or Fatip to round out a spectrum of new open combs (I haven't tried vintage razors to this point; I m ay eventually but at this point am sticking to new models).

My take on reading various reviews - the Cadet/Matador is a fine open comb, efficient at removing stubble but not very forgiving of technique problems. If I went this route, I'd go with a Matador in blue simply because I love the look. The Fatip is also efficient but with a bit more problems in the quality control area and also not very forgiving of technique problems.

Aside from those 2, am I missing any other modern combs in the "mild to moderately aggressive" catchall (aside from the Ikon OC's, which I haven't researched but based on a superficial read are effective and relatively forgiving of technique)? I realize that there are many handle variations of the Cadet/Matador/RazoRock/etc head, but from a handle/aesthetics perspective I think the Matador wins. Plus, I have no handles of any color other than chrome & nickel so some variety would be nice. :001_rolle

I can recommend the Tradere OC, which is mild, but gives very close shaves, once you get the angle right. I have a Merkur 41C & a Merkur 11C & the Tradere shaves way closer, with far less effort.

I can't think of any other modern OC's that I would try beyond those. Once you have all of the ones you've mentioned it'll be time to go for some vintage OC's!! I pretty much agree with your impressions of the ones you've mentioned based on your research.
