I've been using a lord L6 for a while now and I love the shave. However, in the mornings I have a problem with the grip of my shaving hand, and the thin handle when wet gives me trouble. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonably priced, but thicker handled set similar to the L6? I've seen the edwin and the merkur.

Maybe Merkur 1904? The L6 head is very similar to the Merkur-if not a copy. The 1904 doesn't have the length of the L6 but has a nice hefty in hand feel and is a beautiful looking razor. I'm still comparing both razors to see which one I like better. I've had some great shaves with the L6.
