I'm really enjoying the shaves from the Star 3 piece. The blades sit very snugly even thought the notching is somewhat unusual. Excellent handle grip. As one member noted, it shaves very much like a Fat Handled Tech, only a bit more aggressive. This is an apt description. Enjoy

Now that is a very appealing razor. It looks like a high end fat-handled tech.
What would one search on to find such a razor in the Mall or on the bay?

The Star is the very first razor I ever found at a flea market when I started using DE's last year. A great razor and the shave is terrific!

With a little patience and trolling on ebay. You'll find one. I had wanted one for 6 mos. until I found mine.

Sorry about that, just a spur of the moment post while I was reading about the Star razor. Not playing tag team with anyone, and didn't intend to hijack the thread. I use a Star occasionally myself and really like the razor. One of the most underrated as far as I am concerned. I had picked up a couple some time ago and realized I had one sitting in the corner of the closet and figured I might as well get rid of it. Worked too. Thanks.
Thanks for posting that, I have seen a few on the 'Bay. The handle looks nearly identical to the one on my Ever Ready Streamline set. I missed several SE sets because of this, saw the handle and thought they were DE's. Now, it seems I will have to be on the look out for one, gee thanks!
