Morels are out around here. Gonna head back into the woods tomorrow to look for some more.

Getting some warm weather this week. The garden is coming along.
Frost this morning. Seeds started in the kitchen window about a week and a half ago. Yellow bush beans already 5" high or more. Tomatoes coming up too. I'm going to try some coloured carrots this year but will do it from seed in the garden.
Little bit more to plant and we will be done. Tomatoes, all different kinds of peppers, squash, zucchini, corn, beans, potatoes, going to do some cucumbers at some point. IDK what else.

I’m always so happy to get the first squash! Fast forward a few months and I’m leaving zucchini on peoples doorstep under the cover of darkness.

Trying a no-till thing this year. Once everything gets a little taller, there will be more straw covering the rows.
I believe in that no-till thing. It just drives the weed seeds to the top. Good luck.

Ran out of room so I ordered some grow bags. Five 20 gallon bags for $25 on Amazon. Ill transplant sweet peppers in these later today. The other two bags will be for dragon fruit.
Never heard of grow bags. Look pretty neat. Not sure what I’d use them for but I kinda want some.
I use them all the time. They breathe really well. You can move them around easily from the sun to shade. And no weeds.
All kinds of greens, tomatoes and summer squash.

Grow bags are good for plants that like good drainage. Handy for garden space that you can move if you need to. The roots don’t become wrapped around like in a plastic pot And other benefits. check them out.
