The 1912... what years was it produced?

Haven't seen a resource thread or Wiki entry yet on these. I can pretty well guess what year they were introduced  (or at least patented), but is there info on the variants, and how long production ran?

Just got my first in today's mail (3 packages, 6 razors :w00t:), it's of the Ever Ready variety. Wasn't in too bad a shape as you see in the first pic. Just the Scrubbing Bubbles/toothbrush routine so far to remove a bit of corrosion and sanitize it. A bit of Simple green to finish it off for now (second pic). I may clean/polish it up some more, but I'm thinking of giving it a go in the morning .

Thank you both, and yes, I am! 1 BBS down, so smooth and great "audio". I think I'm in love.

they were introduced in 1912 with the deluxe model, a true open comb 1912, followed by the 2nd model: the first with a closed comb and a textured handle about a year or so later. the ornate handle followed, followed by the column style handle, textured line handle, etc. in the 1920s. there were minor head changes, but they were so minor it really didnt even matter. the only real change that was noticeable were the side gutters on the head base when you flip up the head. they appear AFTER the deluxe model as an improvement for filtering the lather. some later model deluxes had them, but not many.
