What's new

Taylor of Old Bond Street Creams. Outstanding Stuff.

I recently got 2 tubs of TOBS- Coconut and Lemon & Lime

First time trying TOBS- These are the best creams I've ever used. Great fragrance, great lather and very comfy shave overall.

These are going right up there with Proraso as my top creams for sure :thumbup1:

TOBS one of my favorites. Both in terms of lather "ability" & scent.
Personally prefer the sandalwood.

Eton College and Mr. Taylor's are both at the top of my rotation, and occasionally I'll reach for Avocado if I'm feeling like it. I've never tried Coconut, but I am looking forward to trying the new Grapefruit cream.

The only TOBS that I have tried is the sandalwood cream. It is rather nice (scent and performance)

TOBS Jermyn and Avocado are my favorites - if only I could get the the absolute smoothness of the avocado with the scent of Jermyn, it would be the perfect cream.

So easy to lather.

+1 on the Avocado. I love that stuff. As well as my Eton and Lavender. Avocado is definately my favorite though.

One of my favorites scents is Jermyn Street. The Sandalwood smells nice but does not give me a good shave. I have plenty of TOBS samples from Garry's that I plan on working through soon.

I have been tempted to eat my TOBS Sandalwood. I love the fragrance.

I've had the exact same experience. The Sandalwood has a very strong and likeable scent. It lathers like a dream. But for whatever, it offers very little actual protection for my face. Its almost like the lather is too fluffy. It doesn't offer the slickness and comfort of other creams/soaps I've tried. This has made hesitant to try other TOBS products. I could have sworn I read another member mention something like this in the past couple of weeks.

I'll still probably end up trying some more though because of threads like this.

I loved the two TOBS I tried, unfortunately they didn't love me. Something in them gave me a nice red, very warm face each time I used them.
