I have been using Tabac this week and again noticed something I have noticed several times before, but I have never seen it discussed around here. I am beginning to wonder if I am the only one with this experience. I face lather and when I use Tabac my initial lather smells to me just like the soap. However, every single time, when I lather for subsequent passes, I get a strong dose of pepper in the scent. I have no idea why I get such a distinct scent change from one pass to the next, but it is uncanny to me. Anyone else have the same experience?

Hmmm.... maybe I'll have to use Tabac for tonight's shave and see if I notice. Darn. I've been burning through my Mike's soap samples lately.... and last night was Orange, Cedarwood & Black Pepper.... so I'll have to see if I can sense any similarities with that pepper note.

I like the pepper in Mike's...and I also like the pepper scent in Tabac. Just strange that I only get it on the second pass. Will be interested to see if you catch it (although this might have planted a seed now).
