Remember the old shaving commercial about the "Gotcha's? I got one today. Tried out my newly acquired Fat Boy yesterday on 4. Dialed it up to 6 today and was enjoying a great shave until my last pass. Trying to neaten up around the outer edge of my upper lip when in a moment of carelessness I set the razor against the skin and moved it slightly sideways. Gotcha! A quarter inch slice. Took a couple of minutes of styptic action before I could get the slightest control of the bleeding. After cleaning up the den, I still had some weeping going on. Enter Super Glue. Dabbed the cut with some tissue and quickly spread some of the glue over the cut. Almost instant hemostasis. Not quite like medical grade Dermabond, but equally effective and not purple. I'm keeping a tube in the den now in case of another serious lack of attention.

nothing like a little slice to remind you to pay attention.
I did this last night with my straight on the underside of my chin. I made a bloody styptic paste and it eventually stopped. I totally forgot about the super glue thing, thanks for the reminder!
