LOL There's a smaller discount tag that says $.99
That was what Gilette called this series, the 109. It was named after the lenght of the razor- 109.5 millimeters. not the price.
But in this instance i am shocked......

Yikes! I just picked one of these up off the bay for 19 and change...it was uncased, but still looks to be in great shape. Unless this was someone's holy grail, this makes no sense...at least to me...

Holy cow!!! I've owned 8 Gillette adjustable DEs and never paid more than 26$ for any of them. $258 is crazy.

Apparently, three people thought they'd bid high just to make sure that they got it. The lowest of the three was at $209.
Wow, I've seen rarer NOS razors go for a lot cheaper. I wonder why it went for so much? I paid less than half of that for a NOS Fasan bakelite slant.

It's bittersweet. I want to see higher prices for the razors I already own. But don't want to see higher prices for the razors I have yet to get. I guess we'll just see more of this in the future.
The title says it is a P-2, the description says P-3. I guess the seller can see the date code through the package. If anyone bought this as a birth year/quarter razor, they might be disappointed.
