So my kilo of Cella's arrived, but I have quite a bit of Arko left in my mug to use. What's the proper method for storing soap like Cella? Do I need to freeze it or something?

It will eventually turn at room temperature. Some put it in the fridge, some freeze. I put it in the fridge.

This works as long as you have a year round cool dry place.
A food vacuumizer is excellent for that. I wouldn't freeze it.

I wrapped it nice and tight in parchment paper then put it in to a large ziplock bag that I vacuum seal. Been almost a year and it's fine still.
I cut mine up into about 10 portions, wrapped individually in wax paper and put in freezer bags. Storing them in storage cupboard in the basement.

+1. I have done this and my Cella - which is two years old - is as fresh as when I bought it.

Are you sure that there is any amount that can be described as "excess" Cella? Abundant, maybe. Excess, never!
