What's new

Tried Cella for the first time

Cella got me interested about "who is the king of performance of the italian marzipanscented soaps" obviously this is purely YMMV. From what I've gathered there's several other choices too, P3, Valobra (out of production), original P160, variations of Vitos.

totally enjoy all my almond flavored (largely) italian shave soaps!!
real classics! all shave great as well!
granted, some are out of production, and glad i have a small cache!
yet, several others are still plentiful, fortunately!!

I quite like the Cella classic almond. Keep considering trying their sandalwood, but it's much pricier and harder to find, at least stateside.

I did the same; don’t know why they continue using that small tub.
I said this on a famous Italian forum and the Cella fanboys all told me to get a brush with a smaller knot ..
Ah .. I said .. true .. why didn’t I think about doing this? Brushes are generally bought in order to fit the tubs soaps are stored in 😅😆
You are very right but that little filmsy bowl is the traditional size and format of most Italian croaps since the 50's and maybe earlier. Proraso, Cella, TFS, I would also include the lesser known 3P, they all come in that format.
And those "savvy" Italians have been using those huge Omega 48 boar brushes since the beginning of time. We are all too spoiled with all the artisans selling their 4oz soaps in huge 8 oz containers
