castle forbes cream storing

I have CF 1445 for about a year now and there is about half of the jar cream left. How can I store it?
Is it bad to dive my brush ( synthetic brush that was previously soaked for a little bit and shaked the excess water out of it) directly inyo the jar and face lather?
Should i keep it open after each use?
What aree your recommendations?

I scoop out a bit of cream and smear it on the bottom of my shaving bowl.

I mean, it is soap and using a brush to load likely won’t ruin a cream or contaminate it in any way, but I prefer not to load creams from the container. Works for me as I have creams that are 5+ years old and still look/perform like new.

I load my 1445 straight from the tub, boar brushes. Several years in, no problems. I might be able to finish it off this year, big doughnut hole. Cooler temps where I live, it’s like a soft soap I find.

If it was me, I'd use it from start to finish and enjoy every shave.

But if you plan on rotating it with others, scoop and smear on your brush for face lathering (my choice) or scoop into bowl for bowl lathering.

CF makes great soaps! Indeed an art for this artisan!
On my part, I scoop a small amount into a shave bowl, then lather from there.
Certainly close the tub after!
