Square-shaped Pyrex soap containers vs round?

Has anyone used square-shaped Pyrex containers for Italian-Style soft soaps?? Does it matter whether the container is square shaped or round?

In the past, I bought 1 cup round containers with a sealable lid... But lately, the only Pyrex-branded ones in that size that I can find are square... Is it as easy to lather a square container as round?

I wouldn't go square. It's completely counter intuitive based upon how we load.

Your brush would be banging into the sides and soap would be all over the corners.

I have a square container and it works fine, if the surface becomes uneven the soft soap can easily be pushed down in the corners. Actually I kind of like it, it's fun as a change of pace!

Try it, there's nothing to lose.

Either. I swirl , twirl, pump, and twist when I load. I've got round square, elliptical, flared, soap containers. It's what catches my eye. And finally the math which does require a leap of faith: A square has 4 corners of 90 degrees each x 4= 360 degrees--a circle. See I told ya'!
