Despite the lack of a proper summer so far in NYC, I find myself using the so-called "summery" scents a lot more, specifically Neroli & Lavender.

The Lotion Opaline is amazing stuff. It's a very gentle scent that blends beautifully w/C&S's Neroli.

My last three shaves, to be honest, have been pretty mediocre. I can't quite figure out what the cause is. The first BIC blade I used gave me 3 smooth and irritation free shaves. The last two however, have not performed very well at all. I'm getting a lot of dragging and the shave isn't getting as close as it used to. My lather today was pretty thin and airy so that could have had something to do with it also. I guess I just have to keep at it.

I am now wondering if it would be better to apply my face moisturizer first then the aftershave, or vice versa. Will have to try. Feather blade in a F2 = dangerous.

On a side note, Arko is a pretty good soap all thing considered, especially the cost.
