Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 316SSP with a tear drop 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Interesting system of centering blades with for posts. This razor works best for my self with a shallow angle(riding the cap). Had a close comfortable shave this morning!
Blade : GSB (4) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice XXX clean unique scented soap with some menthol + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Black marble" 24mm Tuxedo synthetic. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorite brushes for handle and performance.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel with a GSB blade.

A regular shave today with some old friends and some new friends. The R89 performed as reliable as ever and the Wizamet produced in two passes (WTG, ATG) a nice CCS. This is the last Wizamet in this tuck and it will have another appearance probably next week.

B&M's Fougere Classique is a lovely soap. I purchased a full tub of B&M's spice and two samples of Fougere Classique and Seville. B&M soaps get so much praise that I finally comitted to a full tub; but I also wanted to sample a few other scents. The soap is one of the easiest to lather, especially with this ultra-dense synthetic brush from Arno. I also feel very comfortable post-shave with no dryness whatsoever. The scent is great and very approachable. Can't wait to try the others.

I layered some witch hazel I got in a sampler before applying aftershave balm and I feel that it is great additional item post-shave, as irritation has always been a small issue for me. It's a sample I got with my order of Old Spice Classic. I couldn't chose the scent though and ended up with Rose. It isn't a big problem as the scent disappears after a few minutes.

This shave was completed with Byredo's Oud Immortel.
