Hello again B&Bers!

Theme Week time again and this theme is one of my favourites!

B&B’s supporting vendors help keep the lights on around here and are often very involved and active in our shaving community. This place wouldn’t be the same without them!

So let’s show some love for our supporting vendors all week! Let’s see those Rudy Vey, Paladin, AP, Simpson and Elite brushes, Captains Choice bowls and soaps, Above The Tie, Tatara, Alpha, Lambda and Blackland razors, Tony Miller strops or maybe something you have bought from our friends at Bullgoose or West Coast Shaving.

Sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory. Feel free to post any SOTD photo or just tell us about your shave. But be creative and have fun… THIS is mandatory. 👍

Extra points and bragging rights for being creative. Have some fun this week!

Check out B&B’s Vendors here…

Aftershave: Pereja Tobacco Eau de Cologne (Tütün kolonyasi)

Nice shave today. First time using the Gillette brush I picked up for a few dollars at an Indian store months ago, it's super floppy (although the tips are a little sharp) but it works fine with such a soft, easy lathering and non-thirsty cream such as Shave, which was also plenty slick enough (and smells great).

I am back to using the Razor Rock Classic soap. This was the 38th shave with this soap. The ATT-S-1 – Personna Medical Prep combination delivered another BBS shave. Today’s brush, my Paladin Lotus, did a nice job of making plenty of lather. I favor larger brushes since I do a four-pass shave on my face and a two-pass shave on my head and the Paladin Lotus provides sufficient lather—and a perfect BBS shave. Have a wonderful day, folks.

Razor: Gem Junior
Blade: Gem SS PTFE (11)
Brush: Frank 4G
Bowl: Captain’s Choice
Soap: Chiseled Face Sherlock
Aftershave: Captain’s Choice Island Time

Except when I face lather I always use the Captain’s Choice copper bowl. It does the job wonderfully. I was lucky to be able to test the Captain’s Island Time. I like the end result a lot. I made a mental note to order a bottle but that brain cell apparently took a nap for several months. I did remember this summer and got the bottle. Great stuff

Soap : Razorock XXX, unique fresh scent with excellent lather qualities.
