Mitchell’s Wool Fat is just a slippery soap that generates pillow-soft lather. Three passes followed by a cold rinse and Pre de Provence balm left my face feeling as cool and fresh as the underside of the pillow.

Wait... those aren't pillows!

DE Shave of the day, March 24th 2022

Razor: Yaqi Stainless Steel 316 V2 Tile- Mfg 2021, great mild razor, I like to use a extra wide Kai SS blade in this razor to drive it up a notch to a tame mid range. Easy shaving, works ok, looks similar to a Henson razor.
Blade: Kai SS (8) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with excellent longevity. Wider by 9/1000 of a inch for more blade feel.
Soap: Ogallala Bayrum & Sandal wood, nice Bayrum scent(some clove) with Sandal wood, great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Atlantis 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, very nice scrubber, excellent painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel beard cleanse, Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe hand bar cleanser.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Tile razor with a Kai SS blade.

Comments	Fourth and final shave with the UK Aristocrat and GSB blade. The brush worked well loading the small bit of soap and did a decent job of making lather. It will be difficult to squeeze out another shave. A nice shave on a beautiful Arizona day. Have a good weekend, folks.

Friday 3/25 SOTD- went for a relaxed, easy citrus shave today, two-passes for a CCS, 8/10 result; my face feels fine, just not as close a shave from this new razor, no irritation or mishaps:

Pre-shave- Proraso Green Pre-shave cream- it was here from years ago, so I've been using this for a few days now; can't tell that this product is making any difference; menthol is nice
Razor: Winning razor- new- couldn't resist seeing what can be had in a machined stainless, US-made razor at $50; not bad, but not as close a shave as I'm used to, probably user error
Blade: Wizamet SI- figured to use a sharpish blade for the initial use of the Winning; maybe I'll try a Feather or Nacet next
Brush: Omega Pro 10108 boar
Soap: RR Essential Oil of Lime- nice lather, pleasant mild scent
Post-shave: cold rinse, three drops of HA serum, then some Anthony's Logistics ASB, and some Captain's Choice Lime, post-shave feel today is okay

Another close non damaging shave. That is two bloodless shaves. I think the Tech handle is a winner. The Gillette "Spoiler" has F2 on it so I am pretty sure that it is from 1960. This is a great blade. Sharp and smooth. The 2022 Contributors brush is everything I could want in a Shavemac knotted brush. This is my third, and, I am selling my first two. Really digging on the frosty after shave. All in all a great shave.
