May 2024 Gentlemanly Restraint Until Month End (GRUME)
MdC Monday
Hello friends
Beautiful start to the week, here. Following this week's SOTD theme, I debuted a soap that I bought last month, but only arrived today: MdC Agrumes. Wonderful, like all the other Martin de Candre I've tried. With it, came a complimentary blade that I also used for the first time: Gillette 7 oโclock SharpEdge (1). Despite being a Gillette from PPI, I didn't find it to be at the same level as GSB, Nacet or Perma-Sharp. Maybe I'll reconsider my opinion on a second try.
Greencult 2.0 for its exposure is the razor I always use to evaluate a new blade. And SOC Mistura, the brush with which I judge a new soap.

May 13th Evening Shave Honoring Winston Churchill on This Day
On May 10, 1940, Winston Churchill became Prime Minister. When he met his Cabinet on May 13 he told them that โI have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.โ He repeated that phrase later in the day when he asked the House of Commons for a vote of confidence in his new all-party government.
In honor of that famous statement, tonight's shave is all previously unused software and hardware from England (at least historically)

Greetings,
Early morning shave,
(Face & Head Shave.)
Another eclectic shave set up where everything paired together wonderfully.
The LEA Classic Sensitive Shaving Cream which I haven't used in some time created a wonderful lather in a short space of time.
The sandalwood scent is different comparing it to the Proraso sandalwood scent it's more of a light fresh sweet scent to my nose with a nice mild menthol kick feel and pairs together really well with the Floid ASL.
Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original ASB.
My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.
Tried a Feather out today, usually Feathers don't agree with me but I had a pleasant shave. Mostly close and smooth with some little patches, and no major irritation (only one weeper). I did have to go over some patches a few times (hence the weeper) which surprised me a little for a Feather.
