Hello friends

An 18°C winter afternoon around here. To deal with my 3 day beard I resorted to my old and ruthless friend Green Cult 2.0 plate IV. I usually use a sharp blade on it like Nacet, Wizamet, Perma-Sharp or even Feather. But, due to its Gap of 1.05 and Positive Exposure of 0.20 I thought I'd try something smoother like Gillette Silver Blue and… I loved it. A BBS without any cuts or harshness. To complete the partnership, Arko stick, Semogue 1305 and Pinaud Clubman.

Accompanied by a respectable duo: Stan Getz and Bill Evans.

I love how you, Mr. Beto Salatini, are creating the mood, with the music as part of the shaving ceremony. I really love your music taste. But, as Mr. Happy Jack said, I can't fully enjoy the shave without the crisp sound of the blade cutting the whiskers. I've tried to listen music while shaving, but it didn't work for me. A sip of scotch and some music after is my routine.

Thank you very much my dear @Zipp for your kind words. I'm really glad you like the kind of music I listen to while I shave. You know, my dear friend, I'm an anxious guy and I need to be relaxed to shave. The music allows me that, I'm afraid if I focus too much on the shaving noise I might get tense too. But, to tell you the truth, I would love to be able to relax and listen to the sound of the blade cutting my whiskers…I think I'll give it a try.

Lather: Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Cream.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D2)
Razor: SNMIRN Adjustable. (settings) 4-wtg,8-atg,+pick ups.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Splash-On Lotion./L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

What an enjoyable shave. Zingari Man's The Merchant smells really good and is one of those fragrances that draw me back for more sniffs. You can never go wrong in my book with amber or vanilla. But the spice! It just adds this great quality, this great character. It'll draw you in too. I promise you.

I did a three-pass shave starting on 9 then dropping to 7 for the other two. The Fatboy paired with a Nacet blade did an admirable job leaving me with no complaints.

I chose Classic Vanilla for my aftershave and let me tell you. I just love this stuff! I find it intoxicated. No matter how many times passes my love for this aftershave never fades. I swear I wish this fragrance had a matching soap.

Anyway, I had a great shave and I hope you do too.
