Hello everyone! Bill asked me to start this week's SOTD thread as he is out of town. He asked me to suggest a theme for this week, so since Spring might be here for some of us, i thought any thing that represents Spring to you might be a nice and easy theme, hopefully, so put whatever represents Spring in your photos along with your gear. No need to stress about it and participate if you can. I hope all of you have a fantastic week and we get to see all of your wonderful pictures! i will begin with my humble submission. After three days with a Shark SS in a Slim and face lathering, went back to something a bit kinder to my skin. This is the first Personna Lab I've used since
last year, and it makes going back to other blades to use them up difficult. The fourth shave today was pushing the blade a bit, but this is the first blade
I've taken to four shaves in at least a year.

Nivea Sensitive Balm (didn't go with the RSC today since it's Old Spice Monday and yesterday I found the RSC doesn't pair as well with OS as the Nivea or Speick)

In the tube the Boots had a scent I couldn't quite put my finger on but it wasn't unpleasant. When lathering it though the scent developed and revealed a kind of lemony cleaner type of scent which I didn't really like. It wasn't overly strong though and eventually I got a pretty good thick lather with it after adding more water than most creams. The shave went well and it was an ok performer so no complaints there, but as I mentioned the scent doesn't do it for me so it probably won't make it into the rotation. Worth a try though!
