i was poking around fleabay earlier today looking at what open combs had low bids and found this

now i know the seller misidentified it and it's no bostonian... i'm thinking it's a short comb NEW

also one penny more and it would have been $6.66

Yes, specifically this pic. gillette recycled names and used them on different razors, like Aristocrat, Executive, and Bostonian.

It's a very nice razor, by the way. I've tried the short-tooth and the long-tooth NEWs, and have no real preference. I suspect most of the long part of the tooth is simply wasted for most shaving purposes; anything past the curve of the tooth is pretty much superfluous. IMHO.
