Smells like old vegetable oil.

Good Ladies and Gentlemen,

I recently purchased a tub of TOBS Coconut shave cream. The lather is fantastic. This is my first TOBS product and I will be buying more. I was intrigued about the coconut scent, but when I apply the lather to my face it has a faint coconut scent combined with that smell of old vegetable oil. Is this normal or can it sit around too long and spoil? Not "really" complaining, just curious.

Hello Craig,

I've been usung my TOBS Coconut since they 1st came up with this new scent. It has always had the scent of fresh coconut,but quite mild. Mine has never had an "old veg oil' smell as you stated. Your jar must have gone bad ever before it was shipped to you. You should return it for a refund unless you think you can live with that scent. I couldn't. By the way,have you tried Trumpers Coconut. IMO,its superior to the TOBS Coconut. Great stuff !!

Thanks Craig! I will have to check out the Trumpers. The smell isn't so awful that I can't stand it, but it is noticeable and I wasn't sure if that's how it is.
