simpsons polo or tulip loved by their owners? where to find the best deal?

I have been looking for past 3 days to buy polo or tulip but it seems almost impossible to get someone to give up their used brush. I was thinking of this as an experiment and therefore was only looking for a used one so that if I were to not like it - I wouldn't loose much money.

Its difficult to explain but given the difficulty in acquiring the brush, my confidence has increased and am thinking of purchasing a new one - if so - where can I find the best deal? Are there any coupon codes to be had?

Brandon, I've owned both a Polo 8 and a Tulip 3, and I ended up selling the Polo and keeping the Tulip. I sold the Polo because I have small hands and the Polo was just too big for me. The Tulip 3 is absolutely the best Simpsons brush I have used and I have used quite a bit. I think the Tulip is very similar to a Chubby, except the Tulip will have good flow through and I think the handle is a bit more comfortable to hold. My recommendation is the Tulip my friend. And yes it is quite difficult to find one in 2-band, but they can be found in regular 3-band super fairly easily. I recommend going with The Superior Shave, so that way you can pick out the brush you want individually. It will be more expensive, but if you're buying a Simpsons, its almost necessary. Also check Pasteur's like I mentioned in the other thread. They had a beautiful Tulip 2 in Super last time I was there. More expensive? Maybe. But if you find THAT brush it will be worth it.

If you are able to shop for these in person somewhere that is absolutely the way to go. It's worth paying a premium to get the brush that's right for you.
