Shulton Old Spice Cologne

I found this bottle of vintage Shulton Old Spice in an antique store yesterday for two dollars, nearly 100% full. I date it around 1956 using this link http://www.cr8on.com/traditional_bottle_index.html.
The Old Spice in it smells wonderful and as the Shulton formulation is described by the community. My question is can this possibly be the original contents smelling so wonderfully after half a century and how much would you say this is worth?

You got a great deal! A full bottle of this on ebay would have cost you at least twenty bucks, not including shipping. Viintage Old Spice cologne can last indefinitely, provided it has been stored in a friendly environment (kept out of heat and light). I have the same vintage that I wear frequently and it does smell awesome. Shulton made quality juice. I only apply as much as the little hollow stopper holds, which is plenty and the scent lasts all day and into the night.
