Shark Week, bookend Sunday:
Pre-shave: Liquid Neutrogena
Brush: RR 400 matte Plissoft
Cream: Barbasol Aloe green
Razor: The Razor Company TTO
Blade: Shark Platinum (2)
Number of passes: 3 (cheeks WTG, XTG, and ATG; neck XTG, XTG, and XTG)
Touchups or buffs: Yes
Aftershave: Skin bracer and Nivea Sensitive balm
Sting: None
Result: DFS
Today’s shave confirms that the Razor Company’s new TTO razor is much more mild than the standard Baili 179. I have no way of knowing if it is due to quality control and variance, or if Baili’s pinless “Upgrade Head” [sic] is milder by design. What I do know is this razor won’t get any more face time. I shaved the heck out of my face and barely got DFS. It is probably more like CCS. Despite all that work, the Skin Bracer felt like water. Nothing. Nada. No feedback of any kind.
