This was supposed to be my final "Shark Week" shave so I decided to go all in, (Arko - Sharko - Boarko).
The blade felt much better than last shave so I might give it another go tomorrow for a headshave.
And still no blood :)

Shark Week
SV Saturday

Razor:
Muhle Rocca R94
Blade: Shark Super Chrome (1)
Brush: Muhle Rocca R94 STF
Soap: SV Opuntia
A/S: Davidoff Cool Water
Post Shave: Nivea Hyaluron Gel

Tonight for SV Saturday Opuntia showed up and once again I loaded up the the Rocca with a new Shark SC and lathered with the Rocca brush. The shave made up for it as I managed a BBS with a little effort.

Shark Week headshave and faceshave, evening style

Preshave: Hot water
Lather: Moon Old School, right outta the bowl
Brush: Poraso boar
Face razor: Feather AS-D2 loaded with Shark Chrome
Head razor: Leaf 3 blade, loaded with Shark Chrome half snapped blades (2nd use)
Shave: Face shave was ok but this razor was leaving some serious sandpaper under the chin. Didn't want to pursue this past a third pass, as from experience, I've learned this leads to razor burn. So I quit while I was ahead.
Headshave: Perfect. The Leaf three blade razor had to be meant for headshaving, and if it wasn't, then it was the accident of the millennium. What a perfect razor for the dome. Lathered up the chiseled face and made a final cleanup pass with this miracle razor and the sandpaper the AS-D2 left was gone, like long gone. Smooooooooth.
Aftershave: PAA creosote. Unbelievable smell, just perfect.

No bleeders for Shark Week, but no bragging about the Chrome either. The more I use these Shark blades, the more convinced I become, the Shark Platinum is far and away better than the Super Stainless and the Super Chrome. If you put a blade in a Feather AS-D2 and have a subpar shave, you have a bad blade. That's just a fact, Jack.

Merkur 34c/Shark super stainless(7)
My last shave of this year's Shark Week. Grabbed my trusty Merkur 34c and loaded it with the same Shark that I have been using all week. The results didn't disappoint. Great Dfs+.
I survived Shark Week without drawing any blood.
I have to tell you guys that I truly enjoyed participating in all these small events. If it wasn't for you guys I would probably still be using the old Mach 3, Shaving like twice a week, And still thinking of it as a chore.

OFFICIAL SHARK WEEK

Last night’s cap-riding shave
Fatip Grande
Shark Platinum (1)
Damp facecloth aka “shave binky
Simpson KH-1 17mm synthetic brush
Pre-shave: lukewarm shower :001_wub:
Lather: Canada Shaving Soap; face-lathered
Aftershave: Ulm Nom
Post-shave: face wash with shave binky and a drop of hyaluronic acid
Post-shave: mentholated Equate moisturizer

Scrubbing was added to my normal lathering process and the “Sovereign Fibers” felt a bit rougher that way. Painted to finish and lather felt more impressive than normal, but performance suggested I wasted my time compared to painting start to finish.

Still good enough and the cap of my Fatip brand safety razor piloted my Shark Platinum blade to a smooth shave. Finally able to get the underside of my chin as smooth as I can with a more expensive razor. Magic of Shark blades for the win!

Accidentally clinked one of the edges of the blade against the sink, but that was after the shave.
