Semogue Horn Handle Brush

My Semogue Foro Afeitado Horn Handle brush is home at last. It arrived yesterday while I was working. I was able to leave the office an hour early today and picked it up at the post office. It is beautiful. The color variations do not show up well in the picture. There are some subtle brown highlights below the bottom band of the brush. It is stunning in the sun.

My only other high end silvertip is a Shavemac 25 with a 23mm knot. I would say the Semogue is denser. The tips are soft and will break in nicely. The denseness adds to the backbone. I cannot wait to use it. I will decide on a soap later.

Oscar, the brush was fantastic. Pleanty of back bone and a lather generating machine.

I have a 2011 Semogue Ltd Edition badger and honestly this is the prickliest brush in my stable.
If it wasn't by chance my birth year number out of 100, I would have sold it already but I'm not gonna part with it.
I love the SOC's 2-bands but I am not crazy about their Ltd Edition hair qualities.
