Is my face red!
Shave day colour coordination? Just trying to beat that hotshot @Chard52142 at his own game.
As expected, it’s pretty hard to have a bad shave from any of the 1912 model razors. I just got this ER version in a “two fer” deal, which is great because my first ASR purchase on eBay was the exact same British 1912, but it came with a snapped of blade stop. I learned to be more vigilant.
Ethos has me smelling minty fresh with a nice chill hanging in the background.
A nice shave, but it’s raining so I got a late start to the day. I guess I’ll just chill.

Razorock Hawk SS with OC plate with my first shave with a Feather ProGuard. Nice blade but a bit pricy compared to Schicks and Feather Pro/Pro Supers.

5 days growth easily removed with this combo. Aggressive but not overly. The ProGuard is still aggressive enough to give me a BBS 3 pass shave but no irritation at all. Great combo IMO.

Razor: Star bar #4 lather catcher(Kampfe brothers, Brooklyn NY)- Mfg 1919-20, excellent daily driver, Tame mid range, one of the best razors I own and enjoy going back in time during the roaring 1920's.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (5) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely and very predictable.
Soap: Razorock blue barber, nice scent and excellent lather qualities.(great using a newer Generation synthetic brush IMO)
Brush: Chinese 21mm synthetic, OK lather generator, soft tips, great scrub + OK lather painter. First synthetic brush I owned 4 years ago and the newer generation synthetics have come a long way. Great inexpensive travel brush, mainly what I used it for.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS, no irritation + no weepers = :a17:excellent shave with my Star bar #4 lather catcher with a coated Gem blade.

Soap Stirling Witchy Women
Brush Spiffo 28mm Manchurian with thanks @SgtCrppls 👍👍👍
Razor Yaqi AC Aluminum
Blade Feather Professional 6th Use
Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Stirling Witchhazel Wintergreen + Hyaluronic + Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Very nice lather from the soap! The bewitching scent, creamy and slick too!
My first Manchurian, the brush is amazingly soft... a cloud-like feel on the face and very pleasurable building up the lather...
Shave with razor paired with the blade was nicely smooth and comfortable in 3passes for a mostly bbs finish. Aftershaves were cold and terrific!
