MMOC implies that, but I don't think it's an official GEM reference to the razor. Some members including myself use the acronym to distinguish between the open comb and closed comb GEM Micromatic razors.

SOTD, Thursday Feb 20 2020

Razor: Oneblade core version #2 -MFG 2018> ,excellent daily driver.
Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified (9)
Soap : Proraso red sandal wood.
Brush: Yaqi timberwolf 24mm- nice dense packed soft tip whiskers.
Preshave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Proraso red sandal wood aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea Men balm.
Results: CCS,DFS, BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

SOTD, Fri,Feb 21st 2020, modified my C1 Valet Auto-strop blade gap in 2019(months ago) from .011 to .007 thousands of a inch to smooth out the shave, reasonably easy to do IMO. Great shave.

Razor : Valet auto-strop C1 Canadian variant- MFG 1920's to 1930's all over the world.
Blade: Modified Gem Personna SS PTFE (2)
Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch- great soap IMO.(mild scent)
Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24mm with black marble handle.
Pre-shave : Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch Hazel + Nivea sensitive balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =
