Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE (7)
Soap: Tabac
Brush: Razorock Noir 400 24 mm
Pre shave: shower +a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Razorock Emperor with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + some irritation on lower neck + 2 weepers =

GEMonday, Feb3-2020, Just a quick 2 pass shave with a great razor, my true GEM Damaskeene Open comb 1912. Its not aggressive but just mild Mid range with great efficiency to make it a winner in my rotation of razors.

Razor: GEM Damaskeene open comb-MFG 1912-15 one of the most successful razors ever designed after 1900's. They sold millions of different variants up to 1940's.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE-(2) another great blade.
Soap: TOBS Sandal wood. Great masculine scent.
Brush: Razorock Plissoft- great synthetic brush.
Pre shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2.
Post shave: Proraso red Sandal wood + witch Hazel + Nivea balm for men.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + minor irritation + no weepers=

Wow, after using the Schick G the past couple days, the OneBlade was refreshing, so smooth and just as close. (I have trouble with really lightweight razors, which might be the problem with the G).

I have been bouncing between AC and DE lately, so time to switch it up a little. Gearing up for a major slant jam, but this week it's all about Gem and Gem-ish. The plan is to haul out the Jr. Bar for Friday, and for that I'd like to have taken the first two shaves off a fresh blade in a different razor.

I got another aggressive plate for this razor, and did some shopwork to deeply scallop the safety bar. MUCH better blade exposure now, and much closer shave. The razor still has that rather narrow sweet spot, but unlike most Gem-ish I got a nice 2-pass shave this morning. Most Gem-ish work best in 3 passes for me.

I'm considering further mods. It's been suggested to me that thinning down the nose on the cap would open up the sweet spot. I have a spare cap and a fine grinder, but as always I have a little trepidation over committing to screwing up a somewhat expensive piece of stainless.

Another great shave from the OneBlade loaded with a modified GEM. Might not knock down the growth in one pass, but given three passes, the results are just as close as my Timeless 95 OC, Rockwell, or Schick Adjustable loaded with a Twin blade.
