All back to back Shaves, some of my best ever Shaves with kind of SE, New or Old.

SOTD Fri Jan 31st 2020- Same shave equipment as yesterday.

Razor : Oneblade Core Version 2 -MFG 2019- excellent daily driver
Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified (2)
Soap : Razorock XXX
Brush : Yaqi rainbow 26 mm brown whiskers.- Great brush!
Pre shave : brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse on each pass of 3.
Post shave: Razorock XXX with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=

Razor : Gillette Fat Boy E4- setting7 - Mfg 1959 4th qtr (birth year razor) I enjoy this razor more than my Gillette slim.
Blade: Personna red (2)
Soap: Tabac
Brush: Yaqi timberwolf 24mm- great brush with hard soaps IMO.
Pre shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3
Post shave: Proraso green with witch hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =

well after a week of refined technique with the muhle r103.......this was an equally good shave. I usually dont like the GEM blades after the 2nd shave. but with a learned kid glove touch......was a breezy comfortable shave. Absolutely Zero pressure approach......not even a half attempt to apply a little.

I had extra fun uber lathering the windsor with some glycerin. oh my.

now I get to see how far I can really use the GEM blade
